Your Career

The Cortex team builds and delivers the industry’s most advanced SecOps platform, including XSIAM, XSOAR, and XPANSE. As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will help build, operate, and evolve the infrastructure and automation that powers our large‑scale cloud platform.

In this role, you’ll work closely with senior DevOps engineers and software engineering teams to support reliable software delivery, improve system performance, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You’ll be hands‑on with day‑to‑day operations while expanding your ownership, technical depth, and understanding of large‑scale production systems.

This position is ideal for an experienced DevOps engineer who enjoys automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD, and is ready to grow toward more advanced responsibilities. You’ll contribute to improving existing systems by applying best practices in Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, containerization, and observability.

Your Impact

  • Cloud Infrastructure – Build, operate, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Automation & Infrastructure as Code – Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, assist with configuration management using tools like Ansible, and follow GitOps‑based workflows.
  • CI/CD Pipelines – Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar tools to enable reliable software delivery.
  • Containerization & Orchestration – Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes (GKE preferred) and Docker, following established reliability and security practices.
  • Monitoring & Performance – Use monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance or reliability issues.
  • Security & Compliance – Apply security best practices across infrastructure, networking, and deployments, working closely with security and platform teams.
  • Collaboration – Partner with development teams to troubleshoot production issues, improve developer workflows, and support operational excellence.
  • On‑Call Rotation – Participate in on‑call rotations and assist with incident response and post‑incident reviews.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or AWS.
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience scripting or automating tasks using Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized workloads (GKE, EKS, or similar).
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems and basic system administration.
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
  • Experience assisting with production troubleshooting and incident response.

Additional Information

We thrive on automation, efficiency, and reliability, always pushing the boundaries of DevOps excellence. If you’re excited about building scalable infrastructure, improving deployment workflows, and driving DevOps culture, we want to hear from you.
