This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a supportive organization that is expanding across the U.S. Collaborative and supportive team environment Expanding across the U.S. with long-term stability Clear stepping stone to senior and management-level opportunities Hands-on exposure, mentorship, and defined career growth within a high-performing accounting team Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances to ensure financial accuracy and integrity Apply GAAP-compliant revenue recognition standards in the preparation of financial statements and reports Review and classify credit card transactions to ensure proper coding and timely entry into the general ledger Process and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements per company policy Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements Assist with the preparation of schedules and documentation for external audits and internal reviews Analyze financial data to support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for improved efficiency Support the Controller on ad hoc projects and special assignments Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 2+ years of accounting experience Strong Excel proficiency Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
