HDR
HDR is looking for a Project Manager whose experience focuses on client development and delivery of data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in successfully delivering data center and mission?critical projects from upfront planning and pre?design through detail design, construction support, and commissioning.
This position is an opportunity to join one of the largest, fastest?growing, and most comprehensive TMT (Tech, Media and Telecommunications) practices in the industry. In addition to managing and delivering projects, the successful candidate will develop and secure work from a robust global client base and expand HDRs reputation within these markets. The role will manage multidisciplinary design teams from conception to completion and require strong organizational skills and follow?through.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate on development strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality, and production methods and standards, to achieve the established goals and objectives of the business group, region and company. Manage and lead project teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction 1020% travel to project sites, including international if needed Flexible work schedule to accommodate international project support Control project budget, scope, and schedule Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards Forecasting, invoicing and contract management Promote HDR through regular client interface Mission?critical staff recruiting working closely with the Business Group Manager Create vital proposal content including scope, schedule, and budget Lead HDR at interview presentations Work cooperatively with local office leads, other business group leads, technical directors, and marketing managers Other technical/managerial tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field 7?years related data center experience Minimum 2?years project management experience MS Office and MS Project experience required (Access experience a plus) Demonstrated leadership skills Commitment to being an active participant of HDRs employee?owned culture
