As a not‑for‑profit and full‑service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24‑hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.

General Summary

Works primarily in Labor and Delivery providing services to obstetrical patients. Coordinates scheduling and activities with the Medical Director of Obstetrics and the Chairman, Department of OBGYN. Provides patient care with appropriate communication with the Private Attending Staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Completed Accredited (ACGME) Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Board Certification or Board Active Status from the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology

Physician license in the District of Columbia

DC DEA and DC Controlled Substance License

OB House Privileges at Sibley Memorial Hospital

Maintain BLS Certification, renewed every 2 years

Salary Range: Minimum $120.00 per hour - Maximum $120.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
