Position Overview & Responsibilities The Technical Operations & Risk organization works to navigate enterprise risk and drive operational excellence to create value for Johnson & Johnson. The TO&R team blends heart, science, and ingenuity to profoundly impact health for humanity.
Key Functions Include
Operations functions: Global Supply Chain Services, Engineering & Property Services, and the Office of Sustainability
Risk Functions: Quality & Compliance, Healthcare Compliance, Global Brand Protection, and Global Security
This role will be responsible for FP&A oversight for the Technical Operations & Risk team. Primary responsibilities will include consolidations of results, ensuring a compliant operating environment, and leading forecast cycle processes. They will also participate in process improvement and other enterprise initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness across teams. The role will report to the Senior Finance Manager of Technical Operations & Risk Management (FP&A).
The Senior Financial Analyst Will
Coordinate with Finance business partners on the consolidation and presentation of forecast updates, long-range financial plan, business plan, and quarterly result packages to own accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of key deliverables
Lead the financial close process and latest thinking exercises – framing key drivers and business outcomes to leadership
Manage risks & opportunities – challenging key stakeholders when necessary – influencing leadership decision making to deliver on a compliant and successful business plan
Implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis related to headcount, operating expense, and capital
Drive implementation of projects and transformational initiatives (SigniFi). This includes participating in key work streams with high exposure to senior leadership and ongoing interaction with business partners across multiple J&J organizations
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years or related business experience is required
Bachelor degree is required; preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance
CPA, CMA and/or MBA is preferred
Extensive knowledge of finance and accounting processes is required
Must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization
Must have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Data visualization software experience is preferred
Experience with implementing and driving global processes and results with demonstration of a continuous improvement mindset
Executive framing experience is preferred
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or TM1 is preferred
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (i.e. Pivot Tables, LOOKUP functions, charts, etc.)
Ability to balance big picture with attention to detail.
Preferred location is Raritan, NJ; New Brunswick also available
Pay Range $79,000 - $127,650
Pay Transparency & Benefits Pay Transparency Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
