Job Summary Reporting to the Section Leader of Nuclear Medicine, provides direct care to patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Associates degree in Science or certificate degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited school required.
Experience Minimum of one year experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification Current licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. BLS healthcare provider required. Current registration as R.T.(N)(ARRT) or CNMT required within 1 year of hire. Employees hired prior to January 1, 2009 are grandfathered from this requirement.
Skills Must have knowledge of state radiation guidelines necessary to function within a Nuclear Medicine department. Must have IV skills and proficiency. Must be computer proficient, including PACS and HIS/RIS. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
