We’re seeking a Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian to lead our AAHA‑accredited team in a collaborative, supportive clinic environment. This role offers the chance to guide the growth of our hospital while exploring potential joint venture partnership opportunities.
To make your transition seamless, we’re offering a signing bonus of up to $50,000. Use it however you need—relocation, temporary housing, moving services, travel, student loans, childcare, or any support that helps you hit the ground running. We’re also happy to provide additional equipment of your choice to support your clinical interests and help you practice at your best.
All this comes in a prime coastal location: just two hours from Orlando’s theme parks and only 10 minutes from the beach.

The Opportunity As the Medical Director at Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital, you will provide medical leadership for the hospital, ensuring quality care is provided, while also managing associate veterinarians and assuring regulatory compliance. Alongside the Hospital Manager, you will oversee the financial performance of the hospital, preparing operating and capital budgets, and meeting budget expectations. Additionally, you and the Hospital Manager will oversee staff and the overall management of the practice, under the direction of National Veterinary Associates (NVA) Divisional Leadership.
Skills and Basic Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a DVM
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in FL.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
