Position Summary
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek Gastroenterologists (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). Successful candidates will practice in Morgantown, WV and/or Fairmont, WV.
Duties
Practice in gastroenterology and hepatology.
Provide excellent patient care.
Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
Eligibility for state medical license.
Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship.
Board eligible/board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology.
All qualifications met by the time of appointment.
Program Highlights GI & Hepatology service line offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including advanced endoscopy and ERCP, with close access to specialty clinics. Institutional support is available for academic pursuits, particularly in chronic viral hepatitis and inflammatory bowel disease.
