Position Overview Internal Medicine - Ambulatory. Montefiore Medical Group (MMG), part of the Montefiore Health System, seeks Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained primary care physicians for 20 site locations throughout Bronx and Westchester counties. We offer a collaborative team environment and the opportunity to make a difference in patient care across these communities. Several MMG sites support J1 waivers and H1B visas as well as the NHSC/HRSA Medical School Loan Repayment Program.
Responsibilities
Manage and direct general physician medical care
Emphasize early detection of ailments, prevention, and overall wellness
Serve as the first point of call for all patients
Collaborate with our Integrated Behavioral Health team to ensure holistic primary care for all patients
Collaborate with medical leadership and quality coaches to ensure best practices
Focus strongly on quality outcomes and full coordination of care
