Overview A global technology leader is looking for an
Accounting Manager
to join its Corporate Accounting and Reporting team. This role will be highly visible, supporting SEC reporting while providing guidance on complex accounting matters across the organization. The right candidate will be a CPA with deep technical accounting expertise, a mix of public accounting (Big 4 or large regional) and in‑house experience, and a proven background within publicly traded companies in the tech sector.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the preparation, review, and filing of quarterly, annual, and other SEC reporting deliverables.
Partner with corporate and business unit teams to evaluate accounting implications of complex and unusual transactions.
Oversee technical accounting initiatives, including M&A activity, new guidance adoption, and other special projects.
Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and evolving regulatory requirements.
Act as a technical resource and trusted advisor to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
CPA required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
6+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, combining public accounting (Big 4 or large regional) with corporate roles at large public companies.
Strong technical accounting and SEC reporting background, including drafting policies and memos.
Prior experience in the technology industry preferred.
Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools (Oracle, HFM, WDesk, Microsoft Office).
Knowledge of XBRL tagging and SEC filing systems is a plus.
Skilled at operating in large, matrixed environments.
Excellent communication skills; able to simplify technical topics for non‑technical audiences.
