The
Senior Financial Analyst - Retail Finance
reports into the Retail Finance team, which serves as a strategic business partner to Ghirardelli's Direct to Consumer team, with responsibility for balanced financial support and oversight for all Ghirardelli stores and e-Shop. This role requires financial ownership of the annual business planning / budgeting process for all Direct-to-Consumer revenue - developing and deploying processes, tools, and reporting, along with providing decision support and insights, to the Retail Leadership Team, enabling them to plan, track, and execute their annual revenue plans, with a direct impact on Ghirardelli's top line and gross profit.
Scope of Responsibilities
Execute, improve, and automate recurring and ad-hoc reporting and forecasting for revenue to Gross Profit
Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to provide business managers with visibility into key Retail KPI's (such as traffic, conversion, Average Ticket, and comp growth), as well as product and customer drivers of revenue and gross profit.
Make data-driven recommendations to business managers to drive GP optimization and sustainable revenue growth
Compile forecast inputs from business owners, understand risks and opportunities to the company financial plan, challenge business partners when risks arise, and share findings with Finance leadership
Deliver timely and accurate month-end close reporting and business commentary
Collaborate and share best practices with cross-functional Finance and Accounting colleagues to ensure consistency across functional areas
Own all key revenue budgeting and planning processes and tools for stores and e-Shop
Specific Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Exposure to CPG, Restaurant, or Retail industries preferred
Understanding of a full P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
Familiarity with SAP (or similar ERP) and BI tools preferred
Demonstrated experience building working models and business management tools using MS Office suite or other software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to present to cross-functional partners and collaboratively solve problems.
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with building reasonable assumptions-based forecast models

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Required to regularly sit at a workstation
Must be able to work seated or standing for at least 8 hours
Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time paying close attention to detailWorks in a normal office environment
Occasional travel may be required
Salary Salary: $82,157 to $106,794 / year
