Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Job Location: Faribault, MN
Job Duration: 1+ Months (With possible extension)
Shift: M-F 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM CST.

Pay Rate: $25/hr. on W2

Job Description:
  • As a Patient Services Representative II, you are the first point of contact for patients visiting our facilities.
  • You will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while performing high-quality specimen collection and processing.
  • This position requires both technical skill and strong interpersonal abilities, ensuring patients feel confident and informed throughout their experience.
  • The PSR II is responsible for drawing blood specimens, preparing samples for lab testing, and accurately documenting patient information, all while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
  • You may be assigned to various locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently under the guidance of an area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment.
  • Conduct both forensic and clinical specimen collection, following all established procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and ensure correct labeling of specimens, including post-venipuncture signature verification.
  • Maintain required records, documentation, and adherence to regulatory and company standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, providing education and reassurance during procedures.
Experience:
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in retail or service environment highly preferred.

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.
Certification : Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

  • Excellent phlebotomy and specimen collection skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong multitasking and time management in a high-volume setting.
  • Data entry and keyboard proficiency.
  • Superior customer focuses with excellent communication skills.
