Job Title: Phlebotomist III - Floater
Job Location: Lakewood, CO
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 1st MST - Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm
Payrate: $28/hr. on w2
- The Patient Services Representative III – Floater (PSR III) serves as the primary point of contact for patients and performs high-quality blood collection and specimen processing.
- This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, clear communication, and the ability to create a safe, professional, and trusting patient experience.
- The PSR III supports multiple locations—including doctor’s offices and patient service centers—based on business needs.
- Under the direction of the area supervisor, the PSR III completes daily tasks accurately and on time, maintains a safe workspace, follows all clinical and forensic collection procedures, and verifies patient information and labeling.
- The role also requires maintaining accurate records, protecting patient confidentiality, and representing the organization positively.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to produce accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong independent work skills with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Flexible availability: weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and short-notice coverage.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
- Travel required to cover multiple locations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume environments.
- Strong customer focus, clear communication, adaptability, and teamwork.
- Commitment to all company policies, safety standards, and dress code.
- Training location may vary.
Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
- Three years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
- Two years in a patient service center preferred.
- Customer service and data entry experience preferred.
