Responsibilities
Conducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for newly referred patients.
Provision of individual and group behavioral interventions.
Collaboration with physicians and other multidisciplinary staff for direct patient care.
Collection of outcome data related to clinical care.
Engagement in community outreach.
Participation in departmental meetings and activities.
Participation in training, supervision, and consultation activities.
Maintaining charts on all clients in accordance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
Qualifications EDUCATION
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology from an APA-approved graduate program.
EXPERIENCE
Individuals trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT); who embrace a biopsychosocial model of understanding and treating psychiatric illness; have experience in obesity medicine; and are committed to program development are encouraged to apply.
LICENSURE
All candidates must be license-eligible in the State of Connecticut.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork, as well as cultural competency working with diverse cultures and communities.
