Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
to provide mental health care in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
Perform psychiatric evaluations and monitor treatment plans for conditions such as depression, anxiety, and dementia-related behaviors.
Prescribe and adjust psychotropic medications, coordinate referrals, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
Maintain accurate documentation and educate staff on behavioral health practices.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
Valid PMHNP certification and licensure.
Experience in geriatric psychiatry or long-term care (preferred).
Strong clinical decision‑making, communication, and teamwork abilities.
