Position Description UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals are recruiting for faculty positions in the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation within the Department of Pediatrics. Positions are at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks in the Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, or In‑Residence faculty series, with a focus on Bone Marrow Transplant. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and an established fellowship training program. These positions may involve clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and will actively contribute to the Department’s mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.
Minimum Qualifications
Medical degree and license
Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics
Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology and/or Allergy and Immunology
Preferred Qualifications
Proven abilities in collaborative teamwork
A strong interest in pursuing a career in academic pediatrics
Experience supervising residents and medical students in clinical settings
Salary For 51% effort or more, the minimum payable base salary is $114,100–$344,400, based on rank and step. For 50% effort or less, the estimated salary range is $81,500–$246,000. Employment includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which allows eligibility for additional compensation.
