Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to lead all financial operations and partner closely with executive leadership and the Board.
In this highly visible role, you will provide strategic financial guidance while remaining hands‑on across accounting, revenue cycle, compliance, and reporting, ideal for a healthcare finance leader who thrives in a rural hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, audits, and regulatory compliance
Oversee revenue cycle functions including Business Office, AP, HIM, and Payroll
Monitor reimbursement trends, payer contracts, and cost reporting
Advise the CEO and Board on financial strategy and performance
Lead and develop the finance team while supporting hospital‑wide initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
Master’s degree, CPA, and/or HFMA preferred
5+ years of healthcare financial leadership experience
Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience strongly preferred
Clear communicator with strong analytical and leadership skills
