Senior Financial Analyst – McDonald’s

Base pay range: $85,014.00/yr - $106,267.00/yr.

Department Overview The Value Realization Office (VRO) is a centrally managed, strategic capability partnering closely with business and program leaders to create financial transparency and consistency in how we identify, track, and realize value across the portfolio of transformation programs.

The Senior Financial Analyst, VRO is a member of the COE team and will support the VRO leaders. They will help complete financial modeling and ad hoc analysis, activity analysis / benchmarking, accounting and forecasting, and control & monitoring for various programs. They will work closely with cross‑functional leaders and the VRO team to complete analyses, ensure VRO processes are adhered to and deadlines are met.

Duties

Represent detailed business cases throughout the lifecycle of a program – working with business and functional leaders to track and report actual performance, ensuring completeness and accuracy

Responsible for budgeting processes for the business case including annual plan, quarterly forecasting and variance analysis

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive the measurement, reporting and analysis of business metrics and analytics

Partner closely with Manager, Director, and potentially VP level colleagues

Work with multiple stakeholders to help construct a flexible business model; devise, measure and report on Key Performance Metrics (KPIs), and create reporting tools to measure value created for the business

Perform financial reconciliation and analysis

Coordinate multiple deliverables and act as an ambassador across teams to effectively ensure execution against the strategic vision

Participate in weekly meetings to track progress and impact to multiple business cases.

Prepare for executive business reviews and all strategic planning cycles.

Ensure all planning and operation deadlines are met without fail.

Present results of analyses through the creation and delivery of compelling and insightful presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

3+ years of experience

Highly skilled in Excel and data modeling (3+ years of experience)

Ability to recognize operational deficiencies through data, and effectively translate/communicate model outcomes and value‑driven opportunities to leadership

Relevant and successful experience in consulting or corporate finance

Problem‑solving skills to show the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a superior ability to present to management and diverse stakeholders

Preferred Skills

Athleticism to jump from one program to the next seamlessly

Advanced financial acumen (comfortable with financial modeling/forecasting and P&L statements)
