Salary range: $120,000 - $125,000 Depends on Experience

Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled D365 Business Analyst with deep expertise in Supply Chain and Warehouse Management. This role will focus on leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O to enhance operational efficiency across Advanced Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, Procurement & Sourcing, and Security Compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience configuring advanced warehouse processes, designing secure role structures, managing cycle count programs, and delivering training/documentation to end‑users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Advanced Warehouse Management

Configure and manage multiple warehouses within D365, ensuring consistency of workflows and policies across sites.

Set up warehouse‑specific parameters (location directives, work templates, replenishment strategies, and cycle count plans).

Design and implement inter‑warehouse transfer processes, including transfer orders, in‑transit warehouses, and automated shipment confirmations.

Support multi‑warehouse order fulfillment strategies, including cross‑docking, wave picking, and order consolidation.

Enable multi‑site inventory visibility through reservation hierarchies and ATP (Available‑to‑Promise) rules.

Configure and support warehouse zones, storage dimensions, and license plate groups across different facilities.

Implement multi‑warehouse replenishment strategies, balancing stock levels across locations.

Coordinate return‑to‑warehouse and quarantine warehouse processes for quality control and reverse logistics.

Define and maintain user access and security roles tailored for each warehouse, ensuring compliance and segregation of duties.

Develop warehouse performance dashboards to monitor KPIs (cycle time, order accuracy, stock discrepancies) across multiple facilities.

Inventory & Cycle Counts

Design and implement cycle counting strategies (spot counts, blind counts, system‑directed counts, and wall‑to‑wall counts).

Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies using D365 tools and reporting.

Establish inventory policies for batch/serial number tracking, reservation hierarchies, and costing methods.

Security & Compliance

Define and maintain D365 security roles, duties, and privileges specific to supply chain and warehouse functions.

Conduct periodic security audits to ensure role‑based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance with audit/regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with IT Security teams to enforce "least privilege" access principles and mitigate risks.

Procurement & Sourcing

Configure and support procurement processes including requisitions, purchase orders, approval workflows, and vendor collaboration.

Ensure seamless integration of procurement with warehouse receiving and inventory processes.

Training & Documentation

Develop training materials, SOPs, and quick reference guides for warehouse users, inventory managers, and procurement teams.

Conduct hands‑on training sessions for advanced warehouse functions (e.g., mobile device usage, cycle counts, workflow execution).

Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for system configurations, security roles, and operational processes.

Support & Continuous Improvement

Provide Level 2/3 support for supply chain incidents, troubleshooting functional and security‑related issues.

Conduct testing and validation for new configurations, upgrades, and integrations.

Recommend and implement process automation and system improvements using D365 F&O best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities : This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant with D365 F&O Supply Chain Management.

Proven expertise in Advanced Warehouse Management, Security, Inventory, and Procurement.

Experience configuring cycle counts, warehouse workflows, and mobile device menus.

Strong understanding of D365 security role design, SoD, and audit compliance.

Excellent documentation, training, and presentation skills.

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (preferred).

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field plus a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3+ years' Functional Lead Business Analyst or IT Project Management experience required.

3+ years supporting major ERP or Business Application projects, and technologies required.

2+ years of experience leading an ERP solution at another company required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members of the business community.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook. Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and must have Microsoft Dynamics D365. Knowledge in supply chain, job costing and/or field technician software preferred. Must have working knowledge and experience with Microsoft D365 Finance and Ops and/or Microsoft D365 Customer Engagement.
