Department of Medicine-Hematology/Oncology Specialist

The Department of Medicine at UCSF, including the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology, is recruiting for a Specialist.

Specialists at the junior rank must possess (or be in the process of obtaining) a baccalaureate degree or at least four years of research experience. At the Assistant rank: a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of research experience. At the Associate rank: a master’s degree (or equivalent) or five to ten years of experience in the relevant specialization. At the full rank: a terminal degree (or equivalent) or ten or more years of experience. These qualifications must be possessed by the time of hire.

The applicant should be experienced in curation, analysis, and interpretation of bioinformatics data relevant to our research program, and in the multi-dimensional analysis of cancer genomes, epigenomes, and transcriptomes to inform our biological and clinical understanding of cancer and to interface with basic and translational researchers.
