Job Description (General Summary) Intralox, LLC is currently seeking a Project Manager for the Development Engineering Team in the Equipment platform. This individual will be primarily responsible for managing projects through Intralox’s product development process—from ideation to field‑ready solutions. The Project Manager will work in our Baltimore, Maryland office to support our new product‑development team in creating innovative, high‑value solutions for challenging real‑world problems.

This role requires a highly motivated individual who enjoys navigating complexity and demonstrates a wide degree of creativity. Intralox is a division of Laitram, LLC, with an extensive portfolio of innovative conveyance solutions and services that improve lives and optimize businesses worldwide.

Responsibilities

Manages product development projects in accordance with Intralox development processes.

Develops, monitors, and controls a detailed project plan that includes a scope of work and schedule.

Plans, directs, and manages project‑related tasks.

Works with internal stakeholders, commercial team, and customers to determine project requirements.

Serves as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and communicates information at the right time to the right audience.

Conducts risk assessment on projects and mitigates risks for work that is activated.

Manages project team capacity, identifies resource constraints, and facilitates prioritization and trade‑off decisions with appropriate stakeholders.

Applies expert‑level project‑management concepts, practices, and procedures to drive project work to completion.

Skills Needed to Be Successful

Ability to navigate within complex topics.

Proficient problem‑solving, removing obstacles, and resolving project issues that may slow progress.

Capability to manage projects with large development scope, including many interdependencies.

Turn loose front‑end problem or opportunity statements into actionable requirements.

Outstanding communication skills, including concise and clear communication, ensuring alignment on project goals, clarifying expectations, building trust, engaging stakeholders, tailoring communication to development stages, holding productive meetings, active listening, creating clear documentation, simplifying complex information, and validating assumptions.

Technically minded with ability to understand and communicate mechanical and electrical design concepts.

Adaptable, able to pivot quickly when new information is learned.

Self‑driven and motivated.

Inquisitive—great at asking questions to uncover truth.

Requirements

B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university.

5+ years of Project Management experience.

Understanding of Project Management processes and best practices.

Experience working in cross‑functional teams.

Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with engineering, operations, customers, suppliers, and contractors.

Travel required (~10%).

Desired Qualifications

PMP or formal Project Management training.

Product Development Project experience.

Experience working in manufacturing organizations.

Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Working knowledge of Smartsheet.

The position is eligible for commissions or discretionary incentives. Salary Range: $60,700 to $164,900.
