Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education:
Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.
Must be able to meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements available under the OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction 8523.01 and Air Force Manual 17-1301.
Must possess a SECRET Security Clearance.
Experience Required:
Experience and operational knowledge of MARCENT Joint Training Information Management Systems (JTIMS) preferred.
Experience and operational knowledge of MARCENT exercise design, planning, execution, and assessment.
Strong writing, analytical, and reading skills, with the ability to effectively communicate.
Ten years’ military experience.
Job Objective Under a five‑year contract, the MARCENT Exercise Analyst will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands. The analyst will provide professional services aboard MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, in support of the Operations Directorate (G‑3) for both CONUS and OCONUS. Responsibilities include advising COMUSMARCENT on operations, coordinating Global Force Management requirements, synchronizing training, readiness, personnel recovery, and force protection across staff functions, and reporting on operations and training outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide exercise analysis services supporting MARCENT exercise design, planning, execution, and assessment of the MARCENT INTREPID MAVEN series and other events.
Assist in the management of four annual INTREPID MAVEN events (one per quarter).
Develop and review exercise objectives, concepts, Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs), training plans, budgets, force deployment data, tables of organization, and force protection plans to meet headquarters requirements and joint doctrine.
Maintain MARCENT INTREPID MAVEN exercise‑related web pages, historical files, and documentation according to MARCENT Records Management requirements.
Assist in maintaining MARCENT Joint Training Information Management Systems (JTIMS) data.
Plan and coordinate all requirements for exercise planning conferences, including message traffic, meeting minutes, presentations, scenarios, injects, Standard Operating Procedures, and travel arrangements.
Organize and assist with exercise planning conferences and site surveys as directed by MARCENT G‑3.
Compose briefings for COMUSMARCENT, MARCENT Staff, and external units as required.
Assist MARCENT G‑5 with other exercises or exchanges contributing to INTREPID MAVEN or its substitutes.
Education & Certification

Travel: Contractor personnel must support projected travel to MARCENT AOR and supporting locations, including Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, France, Germany, UK, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Israel, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Djibouti, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy, and Greece. The ideal candidate will be available for travel on less than 24‑hour notice for personnel recovery and forward‑deployed training. OCONUS travel throughout the Central Command (CENTCOM) AOR is required.
