Thompson Hospitality Services
leads Campus Dining multi‑unit food and hospitality operations with full responsibility for operational excellence, financial performance, food safety, and scalable growth. This role partners with executive leadership to execute strategy, optimize supply chains, and ensure regulatory compliance across all locations.
Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day multi‑unit operations, P&L performance, and operational KPIs
Develop and execute strategic growth and expansion initiatives
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to improve margins and efficiency
Implement operational improvement programs
Provide strategic leadership for all campus dining operations, aligning with Thompson Hospitality’s pillars of Fresh Food, Great People, and Celebrating Diversity and the elevated service expectations of Lux Life.
Drive operational excellence across all THS locations, ensuring outstanding financial performance, service execution, guest satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Serve as a key partner to the COO communicating results, strategic initiatives, and performance updates.
Lead, coach, and inspire multi‑unit teams—including District Managers, Directors, and culinary leaders—ensuring they deliver on the Lux Life promise daily.
Collaborate across departments such as HR, culinary, marketing, supply chain, and facilities to strengthen brand consistency and operational success.
Collaborate with executive stakeholders on long‑term brand and business strategy.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Culinary, Hospitality, or related field. Master’s degree desired.
Experience
10+ years of progressive leadership
across food service, hospitality, and higher education environments
Proven success in multi‑unit and corporate‑level leadership , driving operational excellence and scalable growth
Extensive experience in supply chain management
with full P&L ownership and financial accountability
Demonstrated expertise in concept development and brand building , from ideation through execution
Strong background in business development , including prospecting, executive presentations, and opening new customer accounts
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a range of audiences including clients, front‑line managers, and C‑level leaders.
Leadership & Management
Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams
Track record of talent development, engagement, and change management
Experience driving strategic initiatives across complex organizations
Technical & Analytical Skills
POS systems and restaurant technology platforms
Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Advanced Excel and data‑driven decision‑making
Supply chain and financial platforms
Regulatory & Safety Expertise
Deep knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, and food safety compliance
Experience leading audits, quality assurance, and risk mitigation programs
Business & Strategic Acumen
Financial modeling, budgeting, and cost control
Operational efficiency and process optimization
Growth strategy, scalability, and brand expansion
