The Position
The Chief Nursing Officer will oversee all nursing operations at this 173-bed community hospital, ensuring consistent compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this leader will oversee a team of six direct reports and 288 FTEs. This leader will mentor and develop nursing leadership to support future succession planning, foster a culture of excellence and collaboration across the team, and play a pivotal role in ensuring quality and performance improvement initiatives are achieved and sustained. Ideal candidates will bring a strong clinical nursing and quality background, demonstrating a hands‑on, visible leadership style with a positive and collaborative approach. A commitment to quality and process improvement initiatives will be essential for success in this role. Requirements
BSN required and Master’s degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or Business required. DNP highly preferred. Active RN license required. Minimum of five years of progressive nursing leadership experience required; prior experience serving in a Chief Nursing Officer role within an acute care setting strongly preferred. The Organization
