About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to join us.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of OMC network infrastructure across multiple locations.
Provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP networks.
Install, monitor, manage, and support switches, routers, and data circuits for voice, data, and video systems.
Ensure secure configuration of network infrastructure in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.
Maintain and update as-built cabling/fiber documentation and network diagrams.
Install, configure, and maintain network encryption devices.
Manage IP address allocations to optimize performance and maintain network security.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Advise OMC IT leadership on the integration of innovative technologies to meet mission requirements.
Lead engineering and installation (E&I) support for LAN wiring and fiber optic terminations.
Qualifications Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, preferred degree is in an IT‑related field
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications
Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise, DoD 8570.01M IAT‑Level II
Experience: 10+ years of DoD Network Engineering experience, 7+ years of performing tasks similar in size and scope
Extensive experience with DoD network infrastructure and security protocols.
Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco or equivalent network devices.
Strong understanding of encryption technologies and IP management.
Experience with fiber optic and LAN cabling standards and practices.
Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with SAP systems and secure enclave environments (preferred).
Experience supporting remote and OCONUS locations (preferred).
Knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks (preferred).
Clearance Requirements Successful completion of a government security screening and/or a Top Secret Clearance.
Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility
Citizenship Status Must be a U.S. Citizen.
