Position Executive Director – Sacramento Gay Men's Chorus, Sacramento, CA (Full‑time).
Salary $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 annually.
Job Summary The Executive Director (ED) provides high‑level oversight of the business aspects of SGMC to ensure efficient administrative function and to execute the organization’s strategic plan and vision. The ED’s direct supervisor is the President of the Board of Directors. The primary areas of focus include oversight of fundraising and donor development activities, marketing strategies for shows and other ticketed fundraising events, outreach and public relations efforts to foster an expanded audience base and organization awareness within the community, and maintaining an active committee structure to aid in achieving these goals. The position supervises the Artistic Director and Chorus Administrator, serves as the primary external contact for the organization (including all contractual matters), and requires a high degree of initiative, independence, and professionalism. The ED is not a singing member of the chorus.
Work Environment This is a full‑time position considered remote; however, in‑person commitments are regularly expected. Successful candidates must be local to Sacramento, CA.
