Job Summary Full‑time Sr. Director, Supply Chain MC at Day & Zimmermann. Lead supply chain strategy and execution across EPC and capital projects, ensuring timely, cost‑effective and quality procurements, subcontracts, materials and fleet management throughout project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Define and implement end‑to‑end supply chain strategies tailored to EPC and capital project execution.

Lead project procurement planning, including long‑lead equipment, bulk materials and subcontracted services; manage competitive bidding, contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.

Provide global logistics oversight for multimodal transportation, warehousing and just‑in‑time deliveries, ensuring material traceability and site readiness.

Identify supply chain risks and lead mitigation strategies related to market volatility, supplier insolvency or geopolitical issues; support claims avoidance and resolution.

Manage the MC Supply Chain organization, including performance management and team development.

Establish and manage strategic business relationships with MC clients; report results and drive best‑practice improvements.

Required Skills

In‑depth knowledge of project procurement/subcontract lifecycles, commercial contract structures and supply chain risk management; hands‑on experience with SAP, SmartAPP and Primavera.

Strong relationship building and communication skills; ability to collaborate in a matrixed organization.

Proven experience leading high‑performing teams and managing multiple high‑priority initiatives in schedule‑driven environments.

Expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management for engineered equipment and global services.

Commitment to safety, ethics and sustainability; working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Qualifications

10+ years progressive supply chain leadership experience in EPC, infrastructure or industrial capital projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management or related field; MBA preferred.

Certified PMP‑PMI preferred; Lean Six Sigma‑IASSC preferred; CIPS, CPSM or equivalent supply chain certification preferred.

Great attitude and team player; successful completion of background screening and drug process.

Essential Functions

Visual, hearing, hearing; capacity to think, concentrate and focus; manual dexterity; ability to read and write complex documents in English.

Ability to perform all job functions at company office or worksite.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $200,647.00 – $300,970.00. Competitive salary plus comprehensive benefits package, including medical, Rx, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, flexible spending accounts, 100% paid maternity leave up to 12 weeks, parental leave, family leave, paid time off and volunteer benefits.
