The Senior Director of Technology PMO for Digital & Data is a strategic and execution‑driven leader responsible for overseeing Inspire’s end‑to‑end delivery portfolio across our Digital and Data ecosystems. This role requires a deep sense of ownership, a bias for action, and the ability to drive complex, cross‑functional initiatives to completion in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of strong technical acumen, financial and business literacy, and disciplined program leadership. They will serve as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Data, Architecture, Finance, and Brand stakeholders—ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and enabling Inspire’s enterprise digital transformation.
This position sits within our Atlanta‑based Global Support Center, with an expectation to be on‑site 80% of the time. Relocation is required for candidates based outside of the Atlanta market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio & Program Leadership
Oversee a capital portfolio of approximately
$60M annually
across Digital (eCommerce, mobile/web platforms, guest experience) and Data (analytics, governance, data platforms) domains. Lead portfolio planning, prioritization, roadmap sequencing, and investment trade‑off discussions in partnership with Product and Technology leadership. Drive structured delivery of high‑impact programs, ensuring clarity of scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes. Monitor execution health and proactively course‑correct to ensure commitments are met. Ownership, Action & Delivery Excellence
Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and follow‑through—ensuring initiatives move from concept to completion with minimal churn. Remove blockers, escalate intelligently, and ensure teams maintain momentum. Implement and enforce delivery frameworks, operating mechanisms, and standards that improve transparency, predictability, and velocity. Champion continuous improvement and operational rigor within Digital & Data delivery teams. Technical & Cross‑Functional Partnership
Leverage technical background to understand solution architecture, engineering trade‑offs, and delivery complexities. Serve as a trusted partner to Engineering, Data Platform, Architecture, and Product teams—bridging business objectives with technical reality. Translate complexity into clear business‑oriented narratives for executives and cross‑functional stakeholders. Financial & Business Management
Own end‑to‑end capital forecasting, budgeting, accruals, and financial stewardship for the Digital & Data portfolio. Monitor capital and operating spend, including labor (FTE & staff‑aug), third‑party contracts. Align financial plans with business priorities, enterprise strategy, and annual capital allocation targets. Partner closely with Finance to ensure precise financial hygiene and quarterly re‑forecast accuracy. Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing team of program and project managers. Foster a collaborative, results‑oriented environment where delivery, clarity, and accountability are paramount. Serve as a cultural leader within Technology—raising the bar for communication, execution discipline, and stakeholder management. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of progressive experience in Technology Program/Portfolio Management, ideally within Digital, Data, or large‑scale platform environments. Strong technical background (engineering, data, architecture, systems implementation, or equivalent experience). Extensive experience owning large portfolios and driving complex digital/data programs to successful completion. Extensive experience operating in a matrixed enterprise with both product‑led and engineering‑led teams. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
Demonstrated financial acumen managing capital portfolios
($40M–$60M+ annually) . Exceptional communication and executive‑level storytelling skills. Ability to think strategically with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Bias for Action:
