Position Summary The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) provides senior management with monthly financial performance, leads the rolling forecast, analyzes variances versus operating plans, conducts profitability analysis, and works on special projects. The position also leads the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and supports the Strategic/Long‑Range Plan.

The Director of FP&A manages a team of five finance professionals and is responsible for their career development. The role reports to the Executive Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.

The ideal candidate is a team player in a project‑based environment, self‑starter able to influence others, skilled in process improvements, and able to set priorities and create a work plan to facilitate achievement of objectives.

Major Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the development of monthly reporting & analysis for the Senior Leadership Team’s Monthly Management Business Review.

Analyze current and past KPIs across revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and working capital; monitor performance and analyze causes of variance.

Prepare reporting and analysis to support quarterly earnings releases and Investor Relations.

Oversee the monthly Free Cash Flow reporting and forecasting process; analyze major variances and implement corrective actions.

Support the development, coordination, and management of the company’s financial planning processes, including the AOP and the monthly rolling forecast.

Define and review presentations for the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors, including the AOP and Strategic/Long‑Range Plan financials.

Develop forward‑looking financial models to support credit rating and debt financing.

Partner with the Corporate Financial Systems team to design and maintain global planning systems/tools.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives on Corporate FP&A processes with regions and functions.

Drive business goals, supporting cost reduction, working‑capital management, and return on capital.

Support and lead special projects as required.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.

8+ years finance experience, with FP&A and operational analysis strengths.

Strong interpersonal skills and experience working directly with senior management.

System proficiency in OneStream, Hyperion Smart View, SAP, BIA, Power BI, and Microsoft Office (Excel).

Excellent analytical and project management skills.

Solid knowledge of accounting principles.

Collaborative team player with team‑building skills.

Demonstrated success in acquiring, developing, and leading financial talent.

Comfortable driving change within the team and organization.

Effective communication and collaboration with all levels of the organization.

Able to work in a fast‑paced, demanding environment; able to multi‑task with proven follow‑through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines.
