Senior Civil Engineer – Central Region, US

Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation of site plans, technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates and permit applications for projects
Development of land development plans and attendance at municipal meetings
Site grading, building layouts, access road design, and stormwater management designs for various sites
Linear infrastructure (piping, forcemains, drainage) design for various sites, including water and wastewater treatment plants
Navigating local, county, and state regulations and permitting requirements
Provide mentorship and development advice to junior level staff
Qualifications
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
Current Professional Engineer (PE) license (in Texas) preferred or ability to file for licensure within 1 year
5-10 years of project experience in land development; experience in multiple states a plus
Familiarity with engineering modelling software including HydroCAD, SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS
Knowledge of engineering drafting software by Autodesk (Civil 3D) and ability to work closely with CAD professionals
Experience with presentations at zoning hearings and other public meetings
