Hospitalist Neurologist
to join its inpatient team.
This hospital-affiliated neurology group has built a strong reputation in the region for its comprehensive approach to neurological care, including advanced diagnostics, stroke management, and neurophysiology services. The practice is known for its modern facilities, multidisciplinary collaboration, and dedication to continuous innovation in patient treatment and outcomes.
Position Overview The incoming physician will provide inpatient neurological consultations, manage acute neurological cases, and coordinate care with hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists. The position emphasizes quality care, efficient workflow, and a supportive work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inpatient neurological consultations, including stroke evaluations and management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams to deliver coordinated care.
Supervise or mentor advanced practice providers and residents when applicable.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and case discussions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system.
Optional participation in outpatient clinic work, if desired.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neurology.
Active Maryland medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
