Our client, a publicly traded aerospace and defense company, is hiring a Senior Program Control Analyst to support complex government programs from inception through execution. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with Program Management and Finance on a new program with full Earned Value (EV) requirements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the details, influencing program decisions, and serving as a trusted business partner to Program Managers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

Partner with Program Managers to support program planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting across cost and schedule.

Develop, maintain, and status integrated master schedules (IMS) using MS Project, including critical path analysis and look‑ahead planning.

Establish and manage cost baselines, EACs, and forecasts, performing variance analysis and “what‑if” scenarios.

Leverage Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics to assess performance and support informed decision‑making.

Lead program status reviews and cross‑functional meetings, highlighting risks, issues, and recovery plans.

Collaborate daily with Finance, Engineering, and other functional teams to ensure program and customer success.

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of experience in Program Control, Program Finance, or Project Controls.

Strong hands‑on experience supporting full EVM programs, including cost and/or schedule deliverables.

Advanced Excel skills; strong PowerPoint capabilities.

Proficiency with MS Project in a technical or engineering‑driven environment.

Deep understanding of EVMS guidelines, DoD EVMSIG, and government reporting.

Experience preparing IPMR/IPMDAR or similar customer reports.

Familiarity with Control Account Plans (CAPs), Work Authorization Documents (WADs), and Variance Analysis Reports (VARs).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a technical field.

U.S. Citizenship required; ability to travel up to 10%.
