DESCRIPTION First Coast Opera based in Saint Augustine, Florida, invites applications for a part-time Development Director to begin as soon as possible after January 1, 2026. This is a part-time position. The successful candidate should reside in Northeast Florida and have the ability to attend meetings, events, and performances in Saint Augustine. Reporting to the General & Artistic Director, the Development Director will plan, oversee, and execute an annual Development Plan to support company contributed income goals, including individual giving, corporate sponsorship and support, planned giving, and grant‑writing and fulfillment. Cultivating donor relationships and direct solicitation is expected. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with other staff, Board, volunteers, and outside vendors.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in non‑profit fundraising, including donor solicitation
Experience with/Interest in the performing arts, specifically opera
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to execute projects and tasks from idea to completion
BENEFITS Pay Range : $2,000 - $2,000 Monthly
