The Reverse Logistics Manager is responsible for end-to-end strategy, development, execution and oversight of Reverse Logistics operations for Beiersdorf North America. This role will report to the Director, Logistics NA. Office locations Stamford, CT or Memphis, TN warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Returns Policy and Enforcement
Collaborate with Sales to develop and execute value-driven returns policies for customer agreements
Collect performance data related to customer returns and provide to sales and customer service any non-conforming returned product for dispensation
Aggregate and reconcile all returns data for finance to ensure credits/deductions are balanced with actual returns
Reverse Logistics Process Execution
Demand owner of reclamation service agreements
Collaborate with customer service on RA process and communication
Relationship manager of suppliers tasked with reclamation of returned goods, recycling/destruction and liquidationAnalytics
Responsible for collecting, measuring and reporting all reverse logistics data
Collaborate with customer service, finance and suppliers to reconcile RA open/closed balances against business expectations and SOI impact
Auditing
Perform regular audits of processes and results as necessaryContinuous Improvement
Identify, analyze and execute opportunities for improvement in processes and operations to create value in the areas of cost, service and sustainability
Set attainable targets to reduce waste/cost in same
Financial Dimensions
Demand owner of BDF NAG Reverse Logistics service providers (reclamation / recycling / destruction
Your Profile
BA in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
5-10 years' experience in relatable field, preferably in retail reclamation or logistics.
Consumer Packaged Goods Industry experience.
Experience working with excel and powerpoint.
Strong financial acumen.
Excellent data analytics capabilities.
Continuous improvement mindset with past experience in process improvements.
Self-starter and outside the box thinker.
Experience in fast paced, ambiguous work environment.
Solution oriented mindset, ability to work through challenges and create solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and experience working on cross functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels.
