The Physician Assistant role within UNLV Health provides primary and specialty healthcare services under the direction of a physician in a clinical setting. Services provided by the nurse practitioner can include diagnosing patients, ordering laboratory tests, prescribing medication and managing health conditions through evaluation and education. The PA will assist in the OR, as well as with call and inpatient consults.
