Ideal Candidate Characteristics

We are looking for strong, experienced sales professionals interested in a career change to commercial real estate.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to, the following activities)

Accompanies prospective clients to property sites to discuss property features, leasing rates, and terms.

Develops business and negotiates the selling, leasing, and marketing of commercial real estate properties for clients.

Compiles client property data, such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, status updates, and presentations for listing or tenant representative assignments.

Prepares Requests for Proposals (RFP) and reviews RFP responses.

Secures new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling additional services to the client base

Analyzes data and prepares real estate reports on average, asking rents, tenants in the market, historical data, and market comparisons.

Gathers and coordinates materials necessary for transactions such as listing agreements, commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements.

Prepares offers, term sheets, and lease amendments. Participates in contract negotiations and due diligence.

Maintains current knowledge of market conditions, property values, and legislation that may affect the real estate industry.

Draft correspondence to existing and prospective clients. Gathers, prepares, and distributes marketing materials.

Canvass prospective clients and leads

Assist in financial analysis and underwriting of property values

Maintains accurate and up-to-date information in company databases.

Create detailed property surveys, coordinate property tours, organize proposal and LOI negotiations, and manage corporate clients’ closings and contract execution processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university required

Must have a TREC real estate license with 2 – 3 years of CRE Industry Experience

Must have a keen understanding of the commercial real estate industry

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral & written

Ability to interface with clients and work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers

Ability to effectively present information

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles

Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions

Conducts basic financial analysis

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents

Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills

Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of office software packages (Microsoft Office Suite)

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple projects.

Also, be high-energy, self-disciplined, and driven, and communicate effectively, verbally, in writing, professionally, and courteously with co-workers and clients.
