A well-established and nationally recognized Plaintiff's law firm in Houston, Texas, is seeking a talented and motivated

Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney

to join their growing team. For 17 years, the Firm has been dedicated to helping the injured and wronged through exceptional legal representation in various practice areas, including personal injury, insurance claims, mass tort litigation, trucking litigation, and wrongful death cases. They foster a collaborative work environment that prioritizes professional growth and development.

The Opportunity:

This position offers an excellent opportunity for attorneys seeking:

A transition from a small firm or solo practice to a well-established environment with a steady caseload.

A career switch from defense to representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases.

A fast‑paced environment to launch their career as a Plaintiff's trial lawyer with potential for earning fee splits/commissions.

Responsibilities:

Manage a pre‑litigation caseload of approximately 300 cases.

Review and draft legal documents, including settlement demands.

Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.

Supervise case managers and track case progress.

Provide legal guidance and counsel to clients.

Identify potential conflicts of interest and develop strategies for successful case resolution.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in pre‑litigation personal injury matters on the Plaintiff's side.

Proven experience in managing a high volume of cases, reviewing settlements, negotiating effectively, and supervising legal staff.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Disciplined, organized, and process‑oriented with a self‑starting and results‑oriented approach.

Highly motivated and driven with strong negotiation skills.
