Aligned Talent Acquisition partners with several respected mid‑size and boutique law firms throughout Chicago and the surrounding metro area that regularly hire Construction and Real Estate Litigation attorneys. This posting represents ongoing hiring needs across our client base as firms expand their litigation practices serving developers, contractors, and property owners.
We’re connecting with attorneys in the 3–8 year range who have experience handling complex construction disputes and real estate litigation.
Responsibilities
Handle construction defect, contract, and mechanic’s lien matters
Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings
Collaborate with transactional teams on risk management and project delivery
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school; Illinois bar admission required or pending
3–8 years of construction or real estate litigation experience
Excellent communication and client management skills
Strong academic background
Compensation $155,000 – $220,000 base salary, depending on firm size and experience Most firms offer annual bonuses, hybrid work flexibility, and comprehensive benefits.
