Job Summary
Our Client is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and execute product strategy across the Inventory & Equipment domain. This includes inventory valuation, cost accuracy, financial transaction handling, equipment lifecycle management, API ownership, and ERP/accounting integrations. The role directly influences core financial and operational workflows.

About the Role The Senior Product Manager will own the Inventory & Equipment product pillar end-to-end. This includes inventory movement, adjustments, costing, valuation, equipment utilization and lifecycle, integrations, and underlying APIs and data structures.
Intake direction identifies potential priority focuses such as costing accuracy, replenishment flows, equipment lifecycle improvements, and API maturity. Year-one outcomes should include improving financial accuracy, strengthening ERP integration quality, and reducing operational friction across inventory and equipment workflows.
Duties and Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision
Develop deep expertise in customer workflows across inventory, equipment, and accounting.
Define the strategic roadmap for inventory, equipment, and financial transaction impacts.
Architect workflows that correctly handle valuation, costing, and GL implications.
Identify opportunities to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Execution & Delivery
Create requirements, PRDs, acceptance criteria, documentation, and early wireframes.
Lead cross-functional delivery with Engineering and Design teams.
Manage releases, customer rollout, and adoption processes.
Provide clear communication and documentation for both technical and customer-facing needs.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Collaborate closely with CX, Sales, Implementation, and Engineering.
Serve as a subject matter expert across accounting, inventory, and equipment workflows.
Support customer discussions involving financial accuracy or workflow impacts.
Integrations & APIs
Own APIs for inventory, equipment, and financial data flows.
Guide ERP/accounting integration strategies and partner integrations.
Work with third‑party partners to expand inventory and equipment capabilities.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist implementation teams with rollout and acceptance testing.
Ensure workflows adhere to best practices in financial and operational design.
Improve data models and workflow integrity across systems.
Qualifications
3+ years of Product Management experience in inventory, ERP, supply chain, accounting, or equipment workflows.
Experience with financial concepts including valuation, costing, financial mappings, or transaction handling.
Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Vista, Spectrum, Acumatica, etc.
Strong understanding of Inventory Management fundamentals.
Experience with APIs and integrations.
SaaS product management experience using agile methodologies.
Nice to Have
Startup experience.
Background in construction, procurement, or field service workflows.
Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Pendo).
Familiarity with service‑oriented SaaS platforms.
Additional Information
Flexible location options; minimal travel required.
This role may act as the primary individual‑contributor owner for Inventory & Equipment workflows.
