We’re seeking an experienced
Assurance Manager
to lead audit engagements and deliver exceptional client service for privately-owned, middle-market companies. This role involves managing audits, supervising staff, and advising clients on complex accounting issues while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead audits of financial statements and related deliverables.
Supervise and mentor assurance staff; ensure quality control.
Collaborate with senior leadership on risk assessment and budgeting.
Advise clients on regulatory and economic risks; resolve complex issues.
Manage engagement profitability and client billing.
Support recruiting, training, and professional development initiatives.
Stay current on technical and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA certification required.
5+ years in public accounting; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office; QuickBooks and ProSystems a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel to client locations.
Business development experience preferred.
