Senior Requirements Management Analyst, DOORS (USCG/DHS/DOD)

THOR Solutions is actively seeking a senior-level Requirements Management Analyst to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG)’s Ship Design Team (SDT) in Washington, D.C. In this role, the candidate will utilize expertise with IBM Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), or other similar requirements systems, to implement and manage shipbuilding program’s requirements and processes. An ideal candidate will have at least six years of prior experience using DOORS in a USCG, DHS, DOD, or other shipbuilding environment.
Typical Responsibilities
Implements enterprise requirements management information systems – specifically IBM DOORS – usage across shipbuilding programs.
Executes the implementation of advanced software features such as the Change Proposal System (CPS).
Manages processes and works with stakeholders to ensure standardized data entry.
Manages requirements database configuration user access, and data baselines.
Location Primarily onsite (3+ days/week) at USCG Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Partial hybrid or full remote work may be possible with customer approval.
Typical Physical Activity Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.
Typical Pay Range The anticipated pay range for this position in the identified location(s) is $90,000 – 120,000. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience.
Eligibility for a SECRET Security Clearance is Required This position requires eligibility for a Secret security clearance, to be obtained after hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
IBM Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements Systems (DOORS) advanced level training/certification, or other similar or equivalent requirements systems training/certification.
At least six (6) years of professional experience administering and maintaining requirements documentation related to a defense program.
Experience should include at least three (3) years administering and maintaining requirements management information systems.
Proficiency with common productivity software including the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication skills.

Training or experience with DOORS DXL development is preferred.
