About the Role This role focuses on building
high-volume, low-latency, deeply queryable data systems
to power analytics and core platform functionality. You will work on scaling and optimizing the platform, building reliable pipelines, and enhancing the performance of key systems that support product features.
What You Will Do
Build
real-time data pipelines
streaming changes from transactional databases to analytics systems.
Optimize
SQL queries and system latency , enforce timeouts, and implement robust retry mechanisms.
Analyze and tune performance metrics for conversion and clickthrough in core systems.
Enhance predictive algorithms using regression and analytics to improve feature performance.
Set up
experiment tracking, observability, and metrics
for better platform monitoring.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure
platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence .
What You Will Bring
Strong experience with
data pipelines and analytics
(PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Debezium, Kafka).
Backend and infrastructure skills:
Redis, AWS, RDS, S3, Render, Grafana .
Full-stack familiarity:
Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript ; bonus for mobile SDKs (Flutter, React Native, iOS, Android).
Detail-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about debugging and
optimizing performance .
Enjoy owning the platform layer and contributing to
experimentation and measurement .
Compensation & Perks
Base salary:
$150k – $220k
(adjusted based on experience/performance)
Equity:
1–2%
