Position Summary
The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive, continuous healthcare to patients of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. This role emphasizes preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and coordination of care across the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
Provide primary care services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases
Conduct routine check-ups, physical exams, and preventive screenings
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as appropriate
Perform minor in-office procedures (e.g., suturing, biopsies, joint injections)
Provide health education, counseling, and lifestyle guidance
Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and allied health professionals
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations
Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Current and unrestricted state medical license
DEA registration (or eligibility)
Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient or community-based primary care
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Interest or experience in preventive medicine and population health
Bilingual skills (preferred in some practice settings)

Work Environment & Schedule
