Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Salary: $105,000 - $115,000
Our client, a leading organization in the Chicago area, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and an opportunity to lead critical accounting operations while driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience , including supervisory responsibilities.
- CPA preferred (active or in progress).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Competitive salary range: $105K-$115K
