Description Kimberly Casey from Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well-established large manufacturing company in Springfield, OR. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled financial leader to oversee accounting operations including cash management, AP/AR, GL, month/year end, reconciliation, inventory, sales and use tax, audit preparation, and more. Will manage a talented team of 5+ direct reports and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of technical accounting and GAAP compliance, experience in a manufacturing setting, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, audits, and ERP optimization. This role is 100% in-office, M-F and may require hours that exceed 40 hours per week. - Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
- CPA license or CPA eligible required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of technical accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
- Demonstrated expertise in general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
- Experience preparing and consolidating financial statements.
- Background in manufacturing industry accounting is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
