Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Englewood, Colorado. - Lead month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial reports.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded and reconciled.
- Oversee audits of financial statements and collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards.
- Provide oversight for accounting activities within a family office structure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles.
- Train and mentor entry-level accounting staff to enhance team performance.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, including leadership positions.
- Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and compliance requirements.
- Experience with account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.
- Familiarity with family office accounting practices is preferred.
- Background in public accounting is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
