Century Group is hiring: CGP: Accounting manager in Los Angeles

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting manager to assist their team. Expected starting pay rate of $65.00 to $70.00 per hour. Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with US GAAP standards. Manage inventory accounting processes, including physical counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Assist with SOX implementation and collaborate with external auditors during audits. Oversee intercompany transactions and financial consolidations for multiple entities. Demonstrate proficiency in Oracle ERP systems and advanced Excel functions. Apply strong knowledge of inventory accounting and cost of goods sold analysis. Utilize experience in consumer goods or CPG industry for accurate reporting and compliance. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and present financial data to leadership. Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution. ~5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting exposure. ~ Possess expertise in US GAAP and best practices for financial reporting and internal controls. ~ Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. ~
