Robert Half is working with a construction client on the North Shore seeking an Accounting Clerk to join its team. This is a permanent role reporting into the Accounting Manager, and the responsibilities are highly focused on accounts payable. The role will also support other aspects of accounting, but AP is the primary experience needed. Our client is looking for an Accounting Clerk with at least 1-2 years of experience, "proficient" Excel skills, and some other basic bookkeeping skills. Requirements - At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling financial data. - Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices. - Familiarity with invoice coding and processing procedures. - We offer contract, temporary and permanent placement solutions for finance and accounting, technology, marketing and creative, legal, and administrative and customer support roles.
