Century Group is hiring: CGP: Senior Accounting Consultant in Los Angeles

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $48.00 to $52.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of financial transactions
• Assist with cost accounting tasks, including tracking and analyzing production-related expenses
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with reconciliations and journal entries
• Maintain financial records using accounting software, primarily QuickBooks
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger management
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is required; experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus
• Ability to work onsite with flexibility for hybrid arrangements when needed
• Exposure to cost accounting principles and their application in day-to-day operations
• Experience in a public company environment is helpful but not mandatory

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing financial data
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional collaboration
