We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our finance team as a Bookkeeper with experience in the Education field. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, and a passion for contributing to the success of our educational institution. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Bookkeeper will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the fiscal health of our institution. Our candidate must also have skillsets pertaining to AP/AR, Student Billing, General Ledger Maintenance, Payroll Support, Financial Reporting, Budget Assistance, Purchasing & Expense Management, Record Keeping & Documentation, and Financial Systems Management. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in accounting/bookkeeping preferred. · 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in an educational setting. · Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel. · Knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting principles. · Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
